The paediatric radiology department provides a 24 hour consultant led on-call service.

The Children’s Radiology department is part of the Oxford Radiology training scheme and we receive radiology registrars who come for their radiology module training. The department also provides training for senior registrars who want to pursue Paediatric Radiology as a career.

Currently we do not have a formal fellowship post but welcome OOPT/OOPE trainees to our department.

Our trainees get good exposure to all aspects of Paediatric Radiology and get to see routine as well as complicated cases. The department also hosts more than 7 clinico-radiological and multidisciplinary meetings, which the trainees benefit by attending as well as presenting under supervision.

The Children’s Radiology is an expanding busy department with a strong sense of clinical excellence and nurturing training opportunities.
